Job summary

North Oil Company in Doha (Doha, Qatar) seeks an experienced IT professional to support subsurface applications across Windows and Linux, bridging business users with DBS teams and vendors to deliver secure, scalable tools.

You will design and develop new digital solutions, automation and AI-enabled tools on approved platforms, while ensuring data quality and operational excellence within the subsurface domain.

Qualifications

• Minimum 6 years of IT experience in enterprise applications.
• Experience supporting subsurface software domains such as reservoir engineering or data management.
• Hands-on development experience with modern programming practices and delivery methods.
• Familiarity with cloud platforms and AI-enabled development is highly desirable.

Responsibilities

• Provide day-to-day functional and technical support for subsurface applications.
• Manage end-to-end lifecycle of Subsurface applications across Windows and Linux environments.
• Collaborate with DBS teams and external vendors to deliver integrated solutions.
• Design, prototype, develop, test, and maintain fit-for-purpose applications and workflows.
• Plan and deliver digital initiatives and manage milestones, dependencies and risks.

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science / Software Engineering / Information Systems / Data Science
