Job summary

QatarEnergy seeks a seasoned engineer to develop and manage underwater inspection contracts from tendering through contract management, ensuring CPM compliance for Barzan, FAP, and related assets.

You will provide technical and operational input for internal projects and external subsea construction and maintenance activities, coordinate third-party NOL approvals, and monitor performance across planning, execution, and reporting.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering with 8 years in subsea construction, inspection, maintenance and diving.
• Strong knowledge of Process Safety concepts and elements.
• Experience with pipeline networks and offshore/onshore structures.
• Familiar with pipeline design codes and pipe-laying crossing methods.
• Experience in marine surveys, ROVs, vessels, barges and diving systems.
• Knowledge of structural analysis and geotechnical aspects of subsea pipelines.
• Proficient in English; computer literate (MS Office, CMMS).

Responsibilities

• Coordinate and execute subsea remedial activities including pipeline free-span rectification and riser clamp repair.
• Support new EPC/NFXP/NFE subsea activities by reviewing engineering tasks and scopes.
• Review execution reports, DPRs, and mobilization for field activities.
• Maintain Subsea Pipeline Integrity and update Operations project reports.
• Inform National Authorities of updated asset positioning.
