Qualifications

• 3+ years of experience in logistics fields.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and purchasing software.
• Strong communication and negotiation abilities.
• Great analytical and strategic reasoning skills.
• Supervisory and administration experience.

Responsibilities

• Preparing plans for the acquisition of tools, services, and supplies.
• Following and enforcing the firm's purchase policies and procedures.
• Assessing, comparing, evaluating, and approving services and products to be bought.
• Managing inventories and maintaining accurate purchase and pricing records.
• Maintaining and updating supplier details such as certifications, lead times, product ranges, etc.
• Maintaining excellent supplier relationships and negotiating terms.
• Researching and evaluating potential suppliers.
• Preparing budgets, cost analyses, and reports.
