Job summary

QNB Group is seeking a Senior Manager - Distributed and In-House Services Business Analysis (Qatarization) to lead and oversee initiatives across in-house and distributed applications. The role focuses on delivering projects aligned with the Group’s strategy and guiding development teams using the latest IT tools available.

The position requires strong leadership within financial services IT and a track record of delivering secure, scalable software solutions from Doha.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science is required.
• At least 8 years’ experience in financial services with a specialization in web or mobile application development.
• Knowledge in .Net and Oracle PL/SQL.
• Ability to analyze and improve architecture of existing systems to meet industry standards.
• Training courses and certification in systems technology, programming and banking software.
• Specific courses in IT security Architecture for web applications.

Responsibilities

• Oversee In-House and Distributed Applications related projects and development teams to ensure delivery.
• Design, implement, document and develop applications per budget and plan; implement KPIs and best practices.
• Promote cost consciousness and efficiency while optimizing processes and benefits for the bank.
• Liaise with business units to gather information requirements and follow up to meet business needs.
• Develop new applications per user requirements and maintain and revise existing programs; perform unit testing and documentation.
