Job summary

Chedi Hospitality seeks a Purchasing Manager to lead all hotel procurement activities, drive cost efficiency, and manage supplier relationships. The role focuses on competitive sourcing, contract management, and ensuring timely, quality purchases in line with approved budgets.

You will collaborate with Finance and department heads to optimize inventory, negotiate favorable terms, and maintain rigorous purchasing records, policies, and controls in a dynamic hotel environment.

Qualifications

• University degree or diploma in Finance, Hospitality, Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, Procurement, or a related field is preferred.
• Minimum 2 years of experience in a procurement leadership role, preferably in hospitality.
• Strong knowledge of purchasing, inventory management, and cost control.
• Proficient with Materials Management Systems (SCALA) or equivalent.

Responsibilities

• Oversee hotel purchasing activities in line with policies and budgets.
• Obtain competitive quotations and ensure best commercial terms.
• Source products meeting quality and operational needs.
• Lead supplier negotiations and manage contracts.
• Review PRs and issue POs within approved processes.
• Maintain supplier records and purchasing documentation.
• Coordinate with department heads on specifications and timelines.
• Ensure compliance with policies, financial controls, and audit requirements.
