Job summary

Nord Anglia International School Al Khor in Qatar seeks an Operations Manager to take overall responsibility for campus operations, including health and safety, facilities, contract management, and compliance. You will lead capital projects, manage procurement, and oversee a team of facilities staff, with broad stakeholder collaboration.

Qualifications

• University degree and proven leadership experience in school operations.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills with high integrity.

• Willingness to lead cross-functional teams and manage budgets.
• Experience in Qatar or the Middle East is desirable.

Responsibilities

• Provide strategic leadership for health and safety, facilities, and campus planning.
• Oversee capital projects, capex budgets, governance, and risk mitigation.
• Manage campus renovations, large-scale procurement, liaising with landlords and design teams.
• Oversee third-party contracts: security, cleaning, maintenance, bus operations, catering.
• Ensure compliance with Qatar regulatory bodies and Nord Anglia standards.
• Lead budgeting, procurement, and event logistics for non-academic functions.
• Line-manage the Procurement Officer, Operations Assistant, facilities team, bus staff, and medical team.
• Collaborate with Extended Leadership Team on space planning and building maintenance.
• Advise Principal on resources and drive cost savings through vendor negotiations.
