Job summary

Nord Anglia Education is recruiting a Facilities Manager for Etqan Global Academy in Doha, Qatar. The role covers the day-to-day operation, safety, and maintenance of the school estate to support teaching and the wider school community.

You will plan and oversee planned preventive maintenance, coordinate contractors, support refurbishment projects, manage asset records and budgets, and contribute to safeguarding and compliance in an international school environment.

Qualifications

• Degree or equivalent in FM/Engineering/Construction.
• Experience managing facilities operations within a complex operational environment.
• Experience coordinating maintenance programs and contractors.
• Knowledge of building maintenance and statutory compliance.
• Strong organisational and communication skills.
• Desirable: CFM/FMP, NEBOSH/IOSH, PMP/PRINCE2.
• Experience in education sector or GCC desirable.

Responsibilities

• Oversee day-to-day operation of the school estate.
• Plan and coordinate planned preventative maintenance (PPM) programs and overseeing reactive maintenance.
• Coordinate statutory inspections, testing and certification, and support internal and external audits.
• Manage contractors and service providers on site, ensuring safety and quality.
• Support refurbishment and capital improvement projects.
• Maintain asset registers, equipment records and maintenance histories.
• Support facilities budgets and procurement activities.
• Provide facilities support for school events, examinations and emergencies.
