Job summary

Nord Anglia International School Al Khor in Qatar seeks an Operations Manager to assume overall operational management of the campus, providing strategic leadership in health and safety, facilities, contracts, compliance, and staff management.

The role includes leading capital projects, overseeing renovations, procurement, and vendor negotiations, while ensuring regulatory compliance and cost-efficient operations across non-academic functions.

Qualifications

• University degree required.
• Experience in operations management or a similar role.
• Strong leadership and communication skills.

• Qatar or regional Middle East experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide strategic leadership for health and safety, facilities management, and campus planning across the school.
• Oversee capital projects, capex budgets, governance and risk.
• Manage renovations, large procurement, liaise with landlords and design teams.
• Oversee third-party contracts: security, cleaning, buses, catering.
• Ensure compliance with Qatar regulations and NAE standards.
• Lead budgeting, procurement and event logistics for non-academic functions.
• Line-manage procurement officer, operations staff, and medical team.
• Collaborate on space planning and building maintenance with leadership.
• Advise Principal on resource needs and cost-saving opportunities.
