Job summary

Nord Anglia International School Al Khor, Qatar, seeks an Operations Manager to take overall responsibility for campus operations. You will lead health and safety, facilities management, contracts, and compliance, while steering capital projects, budgeting, and procurement.

The role requires strong leadership, excellent communication, and the ability to manage multiple stakeholders and deadlines in a fast-paced school environment.

Qualifications

• University degree required.
• Experience in a similar operations management role.
• Strong leadership and communication skills.
• Ability to work under pressure with high integrity.

Responsibilities

• Provide strategic leadership for health and safety, facilities, and campus planning.
• Lead day-to-day management of capital projects, capex budgets, governance, and risk mitigation.
• Oversee renovations, large-scale procurement, and liaison with landlords and design teams.
• Manage third-party contracts including security, cleaning, maintenance, buses, and catering.
• Ensure compliance with Qatar regulatory agencies and Nord Anglia standards.
• Lead budgeting, procurement, and event logistics for non-academic functions.
• Line-manage Procurement Officer, Operations Assistant, facilities team, bus staff, and medical team.
• Collaborate with Extended Leadership Team on space planning and building maintenance.
• Advise Principal on resource needs and drive cost savings via vendor negotiation.
