Job summary

Minimalist.ae is expanding to Qatar and seeks a Store Manager to lead one of its luxury stores. You will oversee daily operations, drive sales performance, and maintain high standards of visual merchandising and stock control.

You will engage with customers, manage VIP clients, and ensure a consistently premium service experience. The ideal candidate has 5+ years of Qatar retail leadership in watches/jewelry and fluency in English and Arabic.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years of experience managing retail stores in Qatar in luxury, watches, or jewelry.
• Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business Administration, Management, or similar.
• Certification in sales, management, or project management from accredited providers is a plus.
• Fluent in English and Arabic.

Responsibilities

• Oversee store operations, staffing, opening/closing, and floor supervision to drive sales and stock control.
• Lead customer experience on the floor, manage VIP clients, and ensure a luxury service standard.
• Manage the store team daily, schedule, allocate tasks, and conduct performance check-ins.

The Role As Store Manager, you will oversee the operations and teams of one of our stores in Qatar. Apart from “just” managing, you will also be directly in touch with customers and living our credo of ‘We don’t sell - we forge relationships’. You will get to know our customers’ demands in detail in order to showcase the product(s) that will most closely fit to what they’re looking for. Every person that comes to visit our store is important to you, regardless of whether they’re on a spending spree or just window-shopping.

Store Operations & Sales Run all daily store operations, including opening/closing, staffing, and floor supervision. Own the store’s daily, weekly, and monthly sales results. Actively manage the sales floor to drive conversion, ATV, and UPT. Ensure stock availability, correct pricing, and accurate stock handling within the store. Maintain store standards, visual merchandising, and overall presentation at all times. Control the store level stock movement, counts, and documentation. Ensure strong loss prevention practices within the store. Investigate and report stock discrepancies.

Customer Experience Be present on the floor to lead customer experience by example. Handle VIP clients and complex customer situations. Ensure the team delivers a consistent luxury service experience every day. Follow up on customer feedback and take immediate action at store level.

Team Management Manage the store team on a daily basis, including scheduling and task allocation. Set clear daily priorities and expectations for the team. Conduct regular performance check-ins and address performance issues quickly. Create a positive, high energy working environment

Training & Onboarding Ensure new joiners complete the onboarding plan and understand store procedures. Support the team with day-to-day product updates and selling guidelines. Reinforce service standards and basic sales techniques on the floor. Identify skill gaps and flag training needs to the Retail Manager.

Requirements:As an ideal candidate, you will have:A minimum of 5 years of relevant experience in managing retail stores within Qatar in luxury, watches, or jewelry. Ideally a relevant academic degree in Marketing, Business Administration, Management, or similar. Ideally relevant certification in sales, management, or project management from accredited providers. Outstanding communication skills in English. Outstanding communication skills in Arabic.
