Job summary

QatarEnergy is seeking a Front Office Treasurer in Doha to manage external counterparty communication with banks and internal QatarEnergy subsidiaries and affiliates. The role requires 8–10 years of LNG trading exposure and strong corporate financing background.

Ideal candidates will have experience in oil and gas or banking, proficiency in MS Office, Bloomberg, ERP systems, and proven leadership abilities. This is a full‑time on‑site position with a dynamic treasury team.

Qualifications

• 8–10 years of experience in trading houses with LNG trading exposure.
• Exposure to trade and corporate financing.
• Oil and gas (LNG) industry or banking experience is advantageous.
• Knowledge of MS Office, treasury middleware, Bloomberg, SAP Treasury Risk Module (TRM) or similar ERP systems.
• Excellent people management, leadership and coaching skills.

Primary Purpose Of The Job

Act as a Front Office Treasurer, responsible for communication with both External counterparties such as Banks, and QatarEnergy Subsidiaries and Affiliate companies, as well as Internal Counterparties within QatarEnergy's departments and Divisions.

Required Experience And Skills

• At least 8-10 years of experience in trading houses adequate exposure to LNG trading knowledge and trade and corporate financing. Previous experience in similar capacity in an oil and gas (LNG) industry or banking institutions would be an added advantage.
• Knowledge of systems in a computerized business environment which includes knowledge and experience in MS Office, Treasury middleware, Bloomberg, SAP Treasury Risk Module (TRM) or similar advanced ERP systems.
• Excellent people management skills, leadership, and coaching skills.

Educational Qualifications

• Bachelor's in Finance/ Accounting/ Commerce/ Business.
