Job summary

QatarEnergy Qatarization is seeking a senior tax professional to provide planning and advisory support for its Marketing & Trading businesses. You will analyze tax matters and coordinate with business stakeholders and external advisers to support informed decision-making and protect QatarEnergy's interests.

The ideal candidate has a minimum of 10 years of experience in tax, with a strong understanding of cross-border issues, transfer pricing, and interaction with tax authorities.

Qualifications

• Minimum 10 years of relevant tax experience in industry, professional services, or tax administration.
• Experience supporting international tax matters and cross-border operations.
• Experience collaborating with business stakeholders, external advisers, and tax authorities.

Primary Purpose of the Job

Provide tax planning and advisory support for assigned Marketing & Trading businesses,assets and activities. Analyse tax matters, provide practical / timely recommendations andcoordinate with business stakeholders and external advisers to support informed decision-making, manage tax risks and protect QatarEnergy's interests.

Required Experience and Skills

Knowledge

• Strong understanding of corporate and international tax principles.
• Knowledge of cross-border transactions, tax treaties, permanent establishment, and withholding tax matters.
• General understanding of indirect tax, transfer pricing, and tax authority processes.

Skills

• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities.
• Commercial awareness and sound professional judgment.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet tight deadlines.

Experience

• Minimum of 10 years of relevant tax experience in industry, professional services, or tax administration.

Educational Qualifications

- Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance, Tax, Law or related discipline.
