Job summary

Gulf Business Development Group in Qatar is looking for a Project Field Supervisor to oversee daily telecom construction installation pre-commissioning and commissioning activities on-site or offshore. The role entails supervising contractors, leading PTW meetings and JSAs, and ensuring adherence to safety rules while tracking milestones for final handover.

With 7–10+ years of experience in oil & gas or industrial projects, you will troubleshoot operational issues, reconfigure system parameters

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or recognized equivalent technical diploma in a related field.
• 7–10+ years of cumulative experience in oil & gas, energy, or industrial infrastructure projects.
• Direct experience with offshore/onshore brownfields, hook-up and maintenance operation.

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily telecom construction installation pre-commissioning and commissioning activities on-site or offshore.
• Monitor contractors and subcontractors, review progress reports, and flag technical drifts or delays.
• Lead or supervise Permit to Work (PTW) meetings, Job Safety Analyses (JSAs), and ensure adherence to company safety rules.
• Investigate operational issues, reconfigure system parameters, manage maintenance tasks often via SAP, and coordinate escalations to senior engineers.
• Check constructability aspects of engineering deliverables, track milestones, and manage project documentation for final handover.
