Job summary

malomatia is seeking a SOC Analyst – Level 1 to monitor security events and triage alerts using LogRhythm SIEM. The role emphasizes incident investigation, log analysis, documentation, and escalation to sustain uninterrupted SOC operations in a 24/7 environment.

The candidate should have hands-on SOC experience, strong analytical skills, and the ability to work in shifts including nights and weekends, contributing to incident response and reporting.

Qualifications

• Hands-on experience in a Security Operations Center (SOC) environment.
• Experience with LogRhythm SIEM for monitoring, alert review and investigation.
• Experience in alert triage, log analysis and initial incident investigation.
• Knowledge of incident identification, handling, documentation and escalation.
• Experience in SOC reporting, shift handover and operational follow-up activities.
• Able to work in a 24/7 rotational shift including nights, weekends and holidays.

Responsibilities

• Perform continuous security monitoring to identify suspicious activities and threats.
• Monitor, review, and investigate security alerts using LogRhythm SIEM.
• Conduct initial alert triage and analysis to identify potential incidents.
• Analyze security logs and event data to support investigation.
• Document alerts, findings, incidents, and escalations accurately.
• Escalate suspicious activities to the appropriate teams per procedures.
• Perform shift handovers and communicate ongoing investigations and actions.
• Prepare SOC reports and carry out operational follow-up activities.
• Follow SOC procedures and security policies to ensure compliance.
• Support 24/7 SOC operations through rotational shift coverage.
