Job summary

Metax in Qatar is seeking three SOC Analysts Level 2 for a 1-year contract to lead advanced security investigations and incident response. You will mentor L1 analysts, perform deep event correlation with LogRhythm SIEM, and drive threat mitigation workflows across premier enterprise environments.

The role requires hands-on incident response experience, strong leadership, and collaboration with cross-functional teams to ensure client security and meeting SLAs.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Cybersecurity, Information Technology, or a related technical discipline.
• Minimum of 4 to 6 years of progressive professional experience in cybersecurity operations, incident response, or SOC engineering.
• Strong, demonstrable hands-on professional expertise in LogRhythm SIEM administration, log analysis, and event correlation.
• Comprehensive working knowledge and practical proficiency in advanced threat detection and forensic investigation.

Responsibilities

• Conduct advanced security investigations, forensic analyses, and rapid incident response across enterprise environments.
• Manage complex incident escalations and provide expert technical guidance and mentorship to Tier-1 SOC analysts.
• Perform rigorous security event correlation, root-cause analysis, and anomaly detection utilizing LogRhythm SIEM.
• Oversee operational follow-up, threat containment, and remediation verification for critical security breaches.
• Compile comprehensive executive incident reports, vulnerability briefings, and threat intelligence summaries.
• Collaborate with cross-functional IT infrastructure, threat hunting, and client stakeholder squads.
• Ensure adherence to security frameworks, regulatory compliance standards, and SLA response times.
• Participate in client interview evaluations and technical vetting prior to final assignment in Qatar.
