Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in CS, cybersecurity, IT or related field.
• 3–5 years in cybersecurity operations and SOC monitoring.
• Hands-on Splunk SIEM administration and SPL query building.

Responsibilities

• Monitor enterprise security access logs, network traffic, and system events in Splunk in shift rotations.
• Perform log analysis, event correlation, and initial triage of alerts.
• Conduct preliminary incident investigation and document artifacts and telemetry.
• Escalate verified incidents to Tier-2/3 SOC teams per runbooks.
• Tune SIEM use cases and maintain alerting hygiene.
• Apply MITRE ATT&CK framework during log review.
• Participate in shift handovers and document tickets; maintain incident logs.
