Job summary

Metax in Qatar seeks a SOC Analyst – Level 1 to drive frontline security operations under a 1-year contract. You will monitor events, perform log analysis with LogRhythm SIEM, and escalate incidents with detailed reporting. Qualifications

• 2+ years of cybersecurity operations, SOC monitoring, or IT support.
• Hands-on expertise with LogRhythm SIEM for alerts and investigations.
• Availability for client interviews and Qatar-based assignment.

Responsibilities

• Monitor real-time security alerts and logs using LogRhythm SIEM.
• Investigate, document, and escalate security incidents per runbooks.
• Perform log correlation and initial threat triage across IT environments.
• Execute shift handovers, maintain operational logs, and daily SOC reports.
• Collaborate with Tier‑2 analysts, incident response teams, and clients.
• Adhere to security procedures, SLAs, and compliance frameworks.
• Participate in client interview evaluations and technical vetting.
• Maintain incident documentation, evidence artifacts, and tickets.
