The Four Seasons Resort and Residences at The Pearl-Qatar in Doha is seeking an IRD Assistant Server to join our team. This role takes ownership of service and can connect quickly with colleagues to deliver a high‑quality guest experience.

Responsibilities

• Greet guests by name, describe items with vivid descriptions, and communicate options for removal of trays and dishware.
• Breakdown, clean, and set up room service tables and related areas.
• Anticipate guest needs, ascertain satisfaction, and respond to concerns and requests.
• Close guest checks accurately, secure room numbers and signatures; settle voided checks or complimentary meals.
• Take guest orders in the absence of the order taker.
• Plate and prepare small food items; assist with service of food items.
• Assist with setup and cleaning of operational areas; support F&B during busy periods.
• Assist with responsibilities in the absence or high volume in Food & Beverage areas.
• Assist to clean private bars, bar carts, and storerooms; stock ice for guest rooms.

Job Description

The Four Seasons Resort and Residences at The Pearl-Qatar is looking for an IRD Assistant Server to join our talented team! This individual takes ownership of their role and operation and can quickly connect to those around them. Confidence, adaptability, and the assurance of a quality experience make a successful candidate for this role.

Essential Functions

• Greet guests by name, describe selected items to the guest using interesting, vivid descriptions of each item, origin, taste, and preparation methods; communicate options for removal of trays and dishware; respond to requests for tray removal according to established time standards.
• Breakdown, clean, and set‑up room service tables, condiment set‑ups, flatware, dishware, and room service side stations.
• Anticipate guest needs, ascertain satisfaction, and offer suggestions, and respond urgently and appropriately to guest concerns and requests.
• Properly and accurately close guest checks securing room number and signature; properly settle voided checks or complimentary meals.
• Take guest orders in the absence of order taker.
• Plate and prepare small food items.
• Assist with the service of food items.
• Assist with set‑up and cleaning of operational areas.
• Assist with responsibilities and duties in the absence or due to heavy volume in areas of Food & Beverage when needed.
• Assist to clean private bars, private bar carts, and storerooms.
• Able to stock and replenish ice for guest rooms.
• Respect the privacy of all guest rooms.
• Keep breakage of items to a minimum.
• Report any unusual incidents, persons or items found or seen on the guest floors.
• Respond properly in any hotel emergency or safety situation.
• Assist the server to transport food orders and amenities, including any special needs and/or requests, to the guest in room in a timely manner to ensure proper food quality.
• Coordinate tray and table removal.

Preferred Qualifications and Skills

• 1–2 years of experience in a related field.
• Excellent command of English; Arabic is an advantage.
