Job summary

Four Seasons Doha is seeking a hostess/host to greet guests, seat them promptly, and coordinate with restaurant staff to ensure an exceptional dining experience. The role requires a professional presence and the ability to manage reservations and guest flow in a luxury setting.

The ideal candidate has 1–2 years of experience in a luxury hotel, with excellent English communication; Arabic is a plus. The position includes accommodation and career development opportunities within a globally

Qualifications

Degree in hotel and restaurant management is required.
1–2 years of experience with a luxury hotel is preferred.
Excellent command of English; Arabic is an advantage.

Responsibilities

Seat guests promptly at a table pre-set for the party size and guest preferences.
Set up hostess stand and review reservations while coordinating room setup and service capacity.
Answer phones and take reservations or provide information about restaurant or hotel services.
Anticipate guest needs and address inquiries or issues; recognize regular guests by name.
Inspect menus and stay knowledgeable about all items and daily specials.
Collaborate harmoniously with coworkers and supervisors; complete special projects as needed.
Ensure proper table setup and adjust arrangements as required.
Maintain high service standards in line with Four Seasons.

Responsibilities

Seat guests promptly at a table pre‑set for the number in the party and according to guest preference.
Set up Hostess stand, review guest reservation book, and make recommendations as to the set‑up of the room, maintain a station chart and cover count for the restaurant while recognizing the maximum workload capacity of each server in order to meet Four Seasons Service standards.
Answer telephones according to Four Seasons standards and take guest reservations or provide information regarding the restaurant or any other hotel service.
Anticipate the needs of guests, respond accordingly to guest inquiries or problems, and recognize regular guests by name and utilize the guest’s name consistently.
Inspect and maintain daily menus to ensure quality, condition and appearance while developing a complete working knowledge of all menu items and daily specials.
Work harmoniously and professionally with co‑workers and supervisors.
Complete special projects (menu changes, signage, etc) as instructed.
Ensure proper table set‑up and make minor adjustments as needed.
