Job summary

AimGulf in Doha, Qatar, seeks an Uniforms Technical Specialist to lead garment technical development across categories, focusing on block development, fit accuracy, construction quality, and pattern engineering. You will manage a team of Product Developers and Quality Controllers to ensure consistent technical execution and QA across suppliers.

Qualifications

• Degree or diploma in Garment Technology, Fashion Design, Textile Engineering or related field.
• 4+ years of leadership experience in multi-product garment environments.
• Strong knowledge of pattern development, grading rules, and fit analysis.

Responsibilities

• Own and evolve master blocks across product categories, ensuring brand fit consistency.
• Apply advanced fitting solutions for diverse body types and categories.
• Maintain fit integrity across size ranges and ensure construction quality.
• Oversee grading rules and increments in line with sizing strategy.
• Provide expert pattern making guidance, manual and digital development.
• Create detailed technical packs with measurements and BOMs.
• Ensure clear instructions to suppliers and embedding a robust QMS.
• Review fabric and test reports to meet performance and safety requirements.
• Lead root cause analysis and corrective action for recurring issues.
• Mentor Product Developers and Quality Controllers, manage workload and output.
• Train on fit analysis, block development, and quality control protocols.
