Job summary

ATAAD Trading W. L. L. in Qatar is seeking a Pattern Maker (Modelist)/ Styler to translate design concepts into production-ready patterns for woven and knit fabrics.

You will develop patterns from sketches, prepare grading and size specs, and collaborate with designers and production to ensure fit, quality, and manufacturability. The role requires strong attention to detail and experience in textile pattern development.

Qualifications

• Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in Fashion Design, Textile Engineering, Pattern Making, or related field.
• 3–5 years of pattern-making experience in textile/garment manufacturing.

Responsibilities

• Develop and create patterns from sketches, drawings and specs.
• Interpret design concepts and measurement charts for production patterns.
• Collaborate with Designer to ensure patterns align with specifications.
• Prepare pattern grading and size specifications for production.
• Refine patterns based on fittings and production feedback.
• Ensure patterns are feasible for manufacturing and compliant with standards.
• Maintain pattern documentation and measurement specs.
• Support samples and prototypes to verify fit and design accuracy.
