Job summary

BAE Systems is recruiting a Typhoon EW MD Specialist to provide in-country support and guidance to QEAF EW Officers. You will work across the MD lifecycle from requirements through design, build, test and post-flight analysis, using IGS, DVT, OMDET and PFA tools to deliver Defence capabilities.

The role involves in-country deployment in Qatar after UK-based training, with responsibilities spanning advisory support, design validation, and operator training for QEAF EW personnel and front-line

Qualifications

• Qualified and highly experienced EW expert with operational EW environment exposure.
• Graduation from a recognized advanced EW warfare course (UK Military or equivalent).
• Demonstrated ability to support design, build and testing of MD lifecycles.

Responsibilities

• Advise on developing Typhoon EW MD requirements and specifications.
• Act as MD SME for IGS, DVT, OMDET and PFA tool sets to meet operational requirements.
• Support in-country training to enable QEAF EW Officer capability with tool sets and processes.
• Provide day-to-day support for MD lifecycle activities including design, build, testing and post-flight analysis.
• Coordinate with QEAF Typhoon front-line users to integrate key EW MD activities into operations.
