Job summary

Penta Consulting is seeking an experienced Senior Software Engineer / SME with deep Oracle BRM, PDC, OCOMC, and BI Publisher expertise to lead the design, implementation, and ongoing support of Oracle BSS platforms in cloud-native telecom environments.

You will configure BRM modules, develop custom Opcodes and PCM components, manage pricing catalogs, and deliver robust reporting through BI Publisher and Oracle Analytics Publisher, while collaborating in DevOps and CI/CD processes.

Qualifications

• 8–10+ years in telecom or BSS domains.
• Extensive BRM experience across 12.x and 15.x environments.
• Experience designing and supporting pricing, discounting, and mediation workflows.

Responsibilities

• Design, implement, and support BRM 12.x/15.x solutions in telecom environments.
• Develop custom BRM components including Opcodes, MTA apps, and PCM-based integrations.
• Configure BRM modules: Customer Account, Subscription, Rating & Charging, Billing & Invoicing, AR, GLID.
• Perform BRM installation, upgrades, patching, and migration activities.
• Provide L2/L3 production support and root cause analysis for billing issues.
• Monitor bill cycles and address operational challenges affecting accuracy.
• Validate rating outcomes and balance impacts using SQL and DB analysis.
• Configure pricing catalogs, offers, discounts, bundles, and pricing structures.
• Manage pricing object migration, publishing, and deployment across envs.
• Ensure catalog consistency between PDC, Pipeline Manager, and BRM.
