Job summary

BAE Systems Strategic Aerospace Services WLL in Doha seeks a System Tester to ensure quality and reliability of applications through comprehensive testing. You will execute test activities, identify defects, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver stable, high-performing systems.

The role covers end-to-end testing, designing test cases from requirements, and logging defects to support timely resolution.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or Diploma in Computer Science/IT or related field
• Minimum 5 years of system or software testing experience
• Solid understanding of SDLC/STLC and QA methodologies
• Experience with database testing and API testing concepts
• Experience with testing complex or mission-critical systems
• Familiarity with test management and defect tracking tools (JIRA, TestRail)
• Ability to work independently and drive tasks
• Strong analytical and communication skills
• Willingness to support night/after-hours testing

Responsibilities

• Participate in end-to-end testing activities including planning, analysis, design, implementation, execution, and closure
• Design and execute test cases from functional and technical requirements
• Perform functional, integration, system, regression, and sanity testing
• Validate system integrations across components and platforms
• Analyze real-time data flows for accuracy and consistency
• Identify, log, and track defects; collaborate with development teams for resolution
• Review requirements and design documents to ensure testability and coverage
• Support simulation and scenario-based testing when applicable
• Collaborate with developers, stakeholders, and operations teams
• Perform other testing duties as assigned
