Job summary

BAE Systems Strategic Aerospace Services WLL in Doha is seeking a Senior System Tester to support quality assurance across complex systems. The role involves validating functionality, performance, and reliability in a high-availability environment.

You will lead testing activities, design test cases, execute tests, track defects, and mentor junior testers while collaborating with developers, stakeholders, and operations to ensure timely delivery.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.
• 8+ years of system or software testing experience.
• Knowledge of SDLC/STLC and QA methodologies.
• Experience with SQL and API testing.
• Experience with test management and defect tracking tools like JIRA and TestRail.
• Ability to work independently and drive tasks.
• Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and communication skills.
• Willingness to support night and after-hours testing.

Responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end testing activities across the project lifecycle.
• Design and execute test cases from requirements.
• Perform functional, integration, system, regression, and performance testing.
• Validate system integrations across components and platforms.
• Analyze real-time data flows for accuracy and consistency.
• Identify, log, and track defects with timely resolution.
• Review requirements and design docs for testability.
• Mentor junior testers and promote testing best practices.
• Collaborate with developers, stakeholders, and operations.
• Support additional testing duties as assigned.
