Job summary

BAE Systems Strategic Aerospace Services WLL in Doha seeks an experienced System Test Manager to lead the testing team, plan strategies, and ensure high-quality software deliveries.

You will manage a team of testers across Agile and Waterfall projects, collaborate with project managers and stakeholders to clarify requirements, oversee functional, regression, and performance testing, and drive continuous improvement in testing processes.

Qualifications

• Bachelors degree in CS, IT, or related field.
• 15+ years in software testing with 10+ years in management.
• Experience in large-scale transport/ traffic management projects.
• Strong knowledge of SDLC and testing methodologies.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain test strategies, plans, and processes.
• Lead a team of testers to ensure quality and productivity.
• Coordinate with PM, software manager, and stakeholders to define scope.
• Oversee functional, regression, integration, performance, and UAT testing.
• Monitor, report testing metrics, risks, and progress to leadership.
• Mitigate risks related to releases and deployments.
• Manage test environments and automation tools.
• Ensure compliance with quality standards.
• Drive continuous improvement in testing processes.
• Coordinate testing with external vendors when applicable.
• Provide support for night/after-hours testing as required.
