Job summary

BAE Systems in Doha, Qatar seeks an experienced System Test Manager to lead a testing team and ensure delivery of high‑quality software products. You will plan, coordinate, and oversee all testing activities, define test strategies, and manage resources to meet project timelines and quality standards, including after-hours support when required.

The role requires 15+ years in software testing, 10+ years in management, and strong SDLC knowledge with Agile and Waterfall experience.

Qualifications

15+ years of software testing experience.
At least 10 years in a managerial role leading end-to-end testing.
Experience in large-scale projects in transport/traffic management is advantageous.
Strong knowledge of SDLC and testing methodologies (Agile, Waterfall).
Hands-on with test management and automation tools.

Responsibilities

Develop, implement, and maintain comprehensive test strategies and plans.
Lead and mentor a testers team to ensure high productivity and quality.
Collaborate with project managers and stakeholders to clarify requirements and testing scope.
Oversee test execution across functional, regression, integration, performance, and UAT testing.
Define and report key testing metrics, risks, and progress to senior management.
Manage test environments, tools, and automation frameworks to improve efficiency.
