Job summary

QD-SBG Construction is seeking a senior professional to lead survey operations across diverse infrastructure projects in Qatar. You will manage the survey team from initiation to handover, ensuring compliance with contractual, client, regulatory, and international surveying standards.

Responsibilities include developing strategies, providing technical leadership, budgeting, tender support, and driving QA/QC across survey activities.

Qualifications

• 15–20 years of construction surveying experience.
• 5+ years leading survey teams across multiple projects.
• Bachelor’s degree in surveying or civil engineering; instruments certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead all surveying operations across multiple infrastructure projects in Qatar.
• Develop and implement survey strategies to improve efficiency and quality.
• Provide technical leadership to Survey Managers and teams.
• Support senior management with budgeting, planning and business development for surveying services.
• Review survey methodologies, control networks, topographic surveys, and as-built submissions.
• Oversee GIS and as-built data collection for project handover.
• Coordinate survey support for planning, construction, design verification, and close-out.
• Mentor and develop survey personnel; establish continuous professional development.
