Job summary

alwakeelgroup is seeking an experienced Land Surveyor to join our team working on road construction and infrastructure projects in Qatar. The ideal candidate will have 8–12 years of surveying experience, with strong focus on road projects and civil engineering settings.

You will conduct site surveys, verify control points, check alignments and levels, and prepare as-built drawings in coordination with project engineers. Familiarity with Ashghal standards is highly preferred.

Qualifications

• 8–12 years of relevant experience in land surveying.
• Strong experience in road construction projects.
• Familiarity with Ashghal standards and major infrastructure in Qatar preferred.
• Hands-on experience in topographical surveys, traversing, and leveling.

Responsibilities

• Conduct site surveys and verify survey control points.
• Check construction alignment, levels, and setting-out accuracy.
• Perform topographical surveys, traversing, and leveling activities.
• Monitor existing utilities and protect them during construction.
• Verify survey data and maintain accurate survey records.
• Document inspection results and relevant site measurements.
• Prepare and verify as-built drawings.
• Coordinate with project engineers to review survey information and obtain approvals.
• Interpret construction drawings to ensure surveying aligns with project requirements.
