Job summary

GHD is seeking a Senior Structural Engineer in Doha to lead the design of buildings and infrastructure, ensuring compliance with local standards and safety requirements. You will supervise a team, coordinate with MEP and architecture, and drive innovative, cost-efficient structural solutions.

Ideal candidates bring 8+ years in structural engineering, a strong track record in reinforced concrete and steel, and proficiency with SAP2000, ETABS, and STAAD.Pro.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in civil or structural engineering (Master's preferred).
• Licensed professional engineer or equivalent certification is preferred.
• Minimum 8 years in structural engineering with emphasis on building design.

Responsibilities

• Design and develop structural systems for buildings and infrastructure.
• Collaborate with project managers and teams to deliver innovative and cost-effective solutions.
• Review engineering designs for quality, safety, and compliance with standards.
• Mentor junior engineers and BIM technicians for project success.
• Ensure QA/QC procedures are followed throughout projects.
• Lead multi-disciplinary coordination with MEP, architecture, and utilities.
