Job summary
PPL Dynamics in Doha seeks a Lead Business Finance Officer to drive financial planning, forecasting, and performance analysis. You will partner with management to interpret results, develop strategic plans, and lead improvements across budgeting and capital allocation.
The role requires overseeing KPI development, ensuring robust internal controls, and delivering insightful reports to senior management. Aviation/ logistics exposure is preferred; international operations experience is a plus.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics or related field.
- MBA or Master's in Finance or Business Administration is an advantage.
- Professional certification such as CPA, CMA, ACCA, or CIMA is highly preferred.
Responsibilities
- Review departmental budgets against management parameters to ensure reasonable additions.
- Analyze monthly financial statements; identify drivers and propose solutions.
- Produce periodic forecasts, projections, and annual strategic/financial plans.
- Ensure effective controls and feasibility reviews of operating plans.
- Identify cost-saving opportunities and optimize expenditures.
