Job summary

Gulf Contracting Co. W.L.L. in Qatar seeks an experienced SHES Manager to oversee the Safety, Health, Environment and Security management system across projects. You will conduct audits, implement corrective actions, and lead SHES training to develop a strong safety culture.

Ideal candidates hold NEBOSH Diploma (Lvl 6), NEBOSH IGC-3, IOSH and have 10+ years in oil, gas, or construction SHES roles, with focus on RAMS/JSA review and KPI reporting.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of progressive SHES experience in oil, gas or construction.
• Strong understanding of SHES management systems and regulatory requirements.
• Experience in Greenfield/Brownfield projects preferred.
• Root cause analysis and incident investigation skills.

Responsibilities

• Oversee SHES management system across projects and ensure compliance.
• Conduct site inspections and audits; implement corrective actions.
• Deliver SHES training and foster a safety culture.
• Manage incident investigations and preventative measures.
• Coordinate with client representatives and stakeholders.
• Review RAMS, JSA/JHA and related SHES documents.
• Develop SHES KPIs, dashboards, and monthly reports.
• Provide guidance to SHES team and project management.
• Maintain SHES registers and documentation.
• Prepare monthly SHES steering committee slides.
