Airswift is seeking a Head of SHES for an onshore project in Doha, Qatar. The role leads SHES strategy, governance, and incident investigations, and provides leadership to project management and operations.

You will drive risk management, contractor SHES performance, and continuous improvement across the site, ensuring compliance with client SHES systems and local regulations.

Formación

• Bachelor’s degree in sciences, safety, health, environment security, or engineering.
• 10+ years of SHES experience in the Oil & Gas industry, including supervisory or oversight of personnel.

Responsabilidades

• Lead the Project SHES strategy and governance framework.
• Ensure compliance with client SHES Management System and regulatory requirements.
• Direct contractor SHES performance management and assurance programmes.
• Provide SHES leadership to Project Management and Operations.
• Lead strategic risk management and critical risk control verification.
• Approve Project SHES Plans, procedures and assurance programmes.
• Lead major incident investigations and organisational learning.
• Develop SHES capability, succession planning and leadership coaching.
• Drive workforce engagement, worker welfare and positive safety culture.
• Promote continuous improvement and SHES excellence throughout project execution.

We are working with a Major Oil & Gas operator to source a Head of SHES. This is a long-term contract role. Please see details below.

Title: Head of SHES Start Date: ASAP (typically within 1 month notice) Location: Onshore (Doha HQ/Qatar Site) Working Schedule: 6 days per week / 8-10 hours per day or as per project requirement

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in sciences, safety, health, environment security, or engineering

Knowledge and Key Skills

• 10 years’ experience in SHES in the Oil & Gas Industry, including 2 years of experience in a supervisory role, including acting roles, or oversight of service/vendor personnel.
