Job summary

MetLife in Doha seeks a seasoned Senior General Risk Management Analyst to strengthen risk identification, assessment, monitoring, and reporting across the organization while analyzing operational, market, credit, liquidity, and insurance risks to support informed decision-making.

Reporting to the Gulf Head of Risk and Compliance, you will partner with business leaders to enhance risk awareness, advance the Enterprise Risk Management framework, and ensure regulatory engagements with the Qatar

Qualifications

• 5+ years’ experience in insurance industry as Risk Manager or equivalent.
• Excellent spoken and written English.
• Strong business acumen and analytical thinking.
• Knowledge of the Three Lines of Defence risk model.
• Ability to challenge and influence at all levels.

Responsibilities

• Act as approved risk control function for Qatar operations and implement local risk requirements (QCB).
• Coordinate regulatory submissions and responses related to risk management matters.
• Develop, enhance and maintain Risk Management Framework, policies and procedures.
• Facilitate risk identification, assessment, monitoring and reporting across functions.
• Lead NFRA processes and document risks, controls, and remediation plans.
• Provide risk oversight for initiatives and changes.
