Job summary

MetLife Gulf is seeking a Senior General Risk Management Analyst to support identification, assessment, monitoring, and reporting of risks across the organization. You will analyze the company’s risk profile, including operational, market, credit, liquidity, and insurance risks, and provide insights to support decisions and mitigation strategies.

Qualifications

• 5+ years insurance industry experience in risk management or equivalent.
• Bachelor’s or Master’s in business/law or related field.
• Professional risk qualification (certification) required.
• Strong understanding of risk management processes.

Responsibilities

• Act as the approved risk control function for Qatar operations.
• Ensure compliance with QCB regulations and internal standards.
• Coordinate regulatory submissions and responses on risk topics.
• Develop, maintain, and update Risk Management Framework and policies.
• Facilitate risk identification, assessment, monitoring, and reporting across functions.
• Lead NFRA process coordination and governance activities.
• Document risks, controls, and remediation plans; challenge assessments.
• Engage with regional/global risk teams for enterprise-wide alignment.
• Provide risk oversight for business initiatives and change programs.
