Job summary

Parsons in Qatar is seeking a seasoned QA/QC / Materials Engineer to lead quality assurance activities across major civil infrastructure projects. You will review material submittals, supervise testing programs, and ensure compliance with international standards and project specifications.

The role requires a Bachelor in Civil Engineering, 10 years total experience with 7 in similar QA/QC roles, and UPDA/MME registration in Qatar. Strong report writing and team leadership are essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering from an accredited university.
• Total 10+ years post-graduate experience with at least 7 years in QA/QC on large-scale infrastructure.
• Experience in quality control and assurance for sewerage, drainage, road and highway works.
• MME (UPDA) registration in Qatar is required.
• Excellent written and spoken English with ability to produce high-quality reports.
• Ability to lead QA/QC teams, supervise inspectors, and ensure compliance with project standards.

Responsibilities

• Reviewing and evaluating material submittals to ensure compliance with project specifications and standards.
• Providing support to construction teams on material submissions, approvals, testing, and sampling.
• Leading QA/QC testing programs, including laboratory and field testing.
• Inspecting construction materials for sewerage, drainage, roads, and highways.
• Preparing and monitoring QA/QC plans aligned with international standards and project needs.
• Analyzing laboratory and technical reports and implementing testing and QC measures.
• Coordinating with stakeholders to obtain clearances and approvals for handover.
