Job summary

Parsons seeks a highly experienced Material Engineer in Qatar to oversee all QA/QC aspects of major infrastructure projects. You will review material submittals, supervise inspectors, and ensure compliance with international standards and project specifications through effective planning and execution.

The role requires a Civil Engineering degree, 10+ years post-graduate experience with at least 5 years in materials/QC roles, and strong reporting skills.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of total post-graduate experience.
• At least 5 years in materials/QC for large-scale infrastructure.
• Strong background in QA/QC specifications and testing.
• Ability to lead QA/QC teams and supervise inspectors.
• Excellent written English for technical reports.

Responsibilities

• Review material submittals for compliance with specifications.
• Coordinate testing, sampling, and approvals with construction teams.
• Lead QA/QC activities across laboratory and field operations.
• Prepare concise QA/QC plans aligned with international standards.
• Produce high-quality technical reports on testing and compliance.
• Manage project close-out documentation for materials QA/QC.
