QatarEnergy LNG seeks a Senior Project Accounting Accountant-NFP to provide expert financial guidance across accounting, management accounting, tax, and related areas. Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in accounting/finance/economics or commerce or equivalent.
• 5 years of accounting and finance experience.
• Thorough knowledge of SAP FI/CO; experience with BPC, BW and Projects System.
• Knowledge of QatarEnergy LNG Financial Control Procedures and strong compliance mindset.

Responsibilities

• Provide professional advice on financial, accounting, management accounting, tax, and related issues.
• Lead month-end, quarter-end, and year-end close activities following guidelines; address complex non-routine items.
• Interface with clients to obtain complex financial information and advise on shareholder agreements and financial models for billings, cash calls and budgeting.
• Coordinate with Asset Accounting and Venture Controlling to reflect true financial position.
• Review gross cost/operating reports and analyze project/operating costs; resolve discrepancies.
• Prepare project accruals and reconciliations; address queries from venture control and explain variances.
• Prepare cash forecasts and manage funding/cash calls/billing statements; analyze actual vs cash calls to optimize cash balances.
• Develop WP&B inputs for all projects and prepare WP&B packs; compare prior submissions with current year.
