Job summary

QatarEnergy seeks a professional to provide guidance on division financial accounting, management accounting, tax, and IFRS reporting. The role performs month-end reconciliations, revenue accounting, and annual financial statement preparation, while coordinating budgets and tax processes.

The candidate will work across SAP-based systems, collaborating with treasury and shareholder reporting to ensure accurate financial data and compliance with IFRS and internal controls.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, economics or commerce OR degree + recognised accounting qualification (ACA/ACCA/CA/CFA/CIMA/CMA/CPA).
• Strong knowledge of IFRS reporting standards.
• Experience with accounting systems and financial consolidation.

Responsibilities

• Account for revenues with correct invoice coding.
• Perform month-end reconciliations linking volumes to production allocation reports.
• Handle quarterly price adjustments and related invoices; coordinate monthly reconciliations.
• Review costs, lease postings, and cash calls for accuracy and reasonableness.
• Prepare cash forecasts and coordinate inputs from finance functions; review for reasonableness.
• Calculate monthly tax; support annual financial statements and notes.
