Job summary

QatarEnergy LNG seeks an experienced accounting professional to manage journal entries in SAP and support cost allocation for operating groups. The role includes ensuring system integrity, preparing reconciliations, and guiding cost centre owners on governance and planning processes.

The ideal candidate has a Bachelor’s in Accounting or Commerce and at least three years in a finance department, with solid knowledge of accounting systems and reporting tools.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting or commerce required.
• 3 years of accounting experience in a finance department.
• Knowledge of accounting systems and financial reporting tools.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and process journal entries in SAP for cost centre owners.
• Provide guidance on cost object usage and allocate costs per approved matrices.
• Develop cost governance plans and support benchmarking activities.
• Assist in cost planning, templates, and data reviews within SAP.
