Job summary

QatarEnergy LNG seeks an experienced finance professional to provide guidance on division-specific financial and management accounting, tax and IFRS matters. The role involves performing revenue accounting, month-end reconciliations, and coordinating cash forecasts with treasury.

Responsibilities include reviewing operating costs, lease postings, tax calculations, and contributing to annual financial statements and shareholder reporting under IFRS standards.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting/finance/economics or commerce.
• Alternate: degree + international professional qualification.
• 5 years’ oil & gas industry experience.

Responsibilities

• Perform revenues accounting with correct invoice coding and month-end reconciliations.
• Review costs, lease postings, and cash calls for accuracy.
• Prepare cash forecasts for SAP-based processes and coordinate inputs.
• Calculate monthly tax and assist with annual financial statements under IFRS.
• Support monthly shareholder reporting and budgeting with strong controls.
