Job summary

Wood is seeking a Senior Planner to join our Doha, Qatar team. The role focuses on delivering schedules across study, FEED, EPC and PMC scopes, in both brownfield and greenfield contexts.

You will contribute to planning governance and continuous improvement within the Planning team. The Senior Planner will develop and maintain robust project schedules, coordinate with engineering, procurement and construction, and ensure alignment with contract requirements and Wood standards.

Qualifications

• Typically requires a Bachelor's degree in a relevant field.
• Minimum 10 years scheduling/planning experience.
• Advanced knowledge of Primavera and CPM analysis.
• Advanced understanding of WBS & CBS structures.
• Strong ability to develop project schedules and plans.
• Excellent understanding of earned value analysis and cost/schedule variance.

Responsibilities

• Prepare, review and report accurate project schedules across lifecycle.
• Develop schedules with required detail and accuracy per contract and Wood standards.
• Identify best practices and drive continuous improvement within Planning.
• Support management and development of the Planning team and project schedules.
• Liaise with engineering, procurement and construction to align activities with schedules.
