Job summary

John Wood Group PLC is seeking a Senior Planner to join our Doha office in Qatar. The role focuses on delivering schedules for study, FEED, EPC and PMC scopes of work, with emphasis on both brownfield and greenfield opportunities.

The Senior Planner will prepare, review and report accurate schedules, ensuring alignment with contractual requirements and Wood standards, and drive continuous improvement within the Planning team. This is a long-term opportunity in Qatar.

Qualifications

• Experience developing and maintaining detailed project schedules.
• Ability to coordinate with multi-discipline teams under tight deadlines.

• Prepare, review and report accurate project schedules and plans.
• Develop schedules and plans to required detail, aligned with contractual requirements and Wood policies.
• Identify best practices and drive continuous improvement within the Planning team.

Wood is recruiting for a Senior Planner to join our team in Doha, Qatar.

This is a key role within the Wood Doha office delivering across study, FEED, EPC and PMC scopes of work.

Reflecting the market focus for the office in both brownfield and greenfield opportunities, multi-skilled personnel are sought, in particular those with experience in:

• Onshore Oil and Gas

• Offshore Oil and Gas

  Objective:

The preparation, review and reporting of accurate project schedules and plans in support of the robust control of projects throughout their lifecycle.

Responsible for the development of project schedules and plans, ensuring they are prepared to the required level of detail and accuracy and accordance with contractual requirements and Wood policies, procedures, and standards. The Principal Planner shall be responsible for identifying areas of best practise and driving continuous improvement within the Planning team.
