Job summary

Wood is seeking a Principal Project Engineer to lead delivery on FEED, Pre-FEED, Brownfield and Greenfield scopes in Qatar. You will manage execution per project plans, safety and quality procedures, and coordinate multi-discipline teams across locations to meet schedules and budgets.

The role requires an engineering degree, 10+ years in project engineering, and proven leadership in large oil & gas projects. Doha-based with long-term assignment and excellent career progression.

Qualifications

• Undergraduate degree in an engineering discipline.
• Minimum of 10 years of relevant experience.
• Enrolled on the Register of Engineers in the State of Qatar as a Grade A or B Engineer desirable.
• Ideally has PMP or APM certification or equivalent.
• Proficient with MS Office for documents, trackers and schedules.

Responsibilities

• Champions Wood and client Health, Safety, Environmental and Quality cultures and leads by example.
• Supports delivery of project and engineering excellence for assigned scopes.
• Takes ownership of scopes and ensures timely delivery per procedures and standards.
• Chairs and minutes technical and project reviews with customers and vendors.
• Leads multi-discipline deliverables across locations and coordinates with Lead Engineers.
