Job summary

HamdanGlobal in Doha, Qatar, seeks an experienced Accounts & Tax Manager to lead accounting, financial reporting, tax compliance and financial control functions. You will ensure IFRS compliance and robust internal controls while partnering with the CFO and senior management.

The role requires deep expertise in IFRS, tax legislation and financial systems, with a focus on process improvements and strategic insights. This is an on-site position in a large asset-intensive environment.

Qualifications

• Minimum 12 years of Finance/Accounting experience.
• At least 5 years in progressively senior managerial positions.
• Strong experience across Accounting/Financial Control and Tax functions.
• Proven IFRS, consolidation, GL, fixed assets, treasury and tax management experience.
• Familiarity with Qatar/GCC regulatory environment preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead accounting and financial control with policies and internal controls.
• Oversee month-end, quarter-end, and year-end close and reconciliations.
• Manage tax compliance, VAT and corporate tax strategies.
• Coordinate with internal/external auditors and regulators.
• Develop and mentor the Accounts & Tax team.
