Job summary

Tanqeeb seeks a Senior Membership, Licensing & Trade Specialist to lead regulatory administration, licensing, and compliance within a highly regulated environment.

The role focuses on governance, stakeholder engagement, and operational oversight to drive excellence and support strategic initiatives. Strong data skills and regulatory experience are essential.

Arabic and English fluency is preferred; GCC-regulatory exposure is a plus. On-site position in Doha, Qatar.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a related discipline as listed.
• 5–8 years of relevant regulatory/ licensing experience.
• Experience with government entities or regulators preferred.
• Experience managing regulatory processes and stakeholder engagement.
• Certifications in compliance/governance/trade would be a plus.
• Strong analytical, reporting and data interpretation skills.
• Proficiency with Excel, PowerPoint and Word.
• Experience with regulatory platforms or enterprise systems.
• Fluency in Arabic and English preferred.

A leading organization is seeking a Senior Membership, Licensing & Trade Specialist to lead regulatory administration, licensing, compliance, stakeholder engagement, and operational oversight activities within a highly regulated environment. This role is suited for an experienced professional with a strong background in trade operations, regulatory compliance, licensing, and stakeholder management, capable of driving operational excellence while supporting strategic initiatives and governance requirements.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead membership registration, licensing, renewal, and compliance verification activities.
• Review, verify, and approve regulatory and operational documentation.
• Oversee databases, records management, and documentation controls to ensure data integrity and compliance.
• Coordinate with government entities, regulatory authorities, and external stakeholders on operational and compliance-related matters.
• Monitor adherence to regulatory requirements, internal policies, procedures, and governance frameworks.
• Support audits, inspections, compliance reviews, and corrective action initiatives.
• Lead the collection, analysis, and reporting of operational and performance data.
• Prepare management reports, dashboards, presentations, briefing materials, and technical documentation.
• Support the development and implementation of policies, procedures, and process improvement initiatives.

  Qualifications & Experience

  • Bachelor's degree in International Trade, Business Administration, International Relations, Law, Economics, Customs Administration, Public Administration, Computer Science, or a related discipline.
  • Minimum 5-8 years of relevant experience in regulatory affairs, licensing, compliance, trade operations, customs, governance, or related functions.
  • Experience working with government entities, regulatory authorities, international organizations, or highly regulated environments is strongly preferred.
  • Proven experience managing regulatory processes, compliance activities, and stakeholder engagement initiatives.
  • Experience developing policies, procedures, reports, and governance frameworks is advantageous.
  • Professional certifications in compliance, governance, trade, customs, or related disciplines would be a plus.
  • Strong analytical, reporting, and data interpretation skills.
  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, and Word.
  • Experience working with regulatory platforms, databases, or enterprise systems.
  • Provide technical guidance and support to junior team members.
  • Professional fluency in Arabic and English is preferred.
