Job summary

Arab Loss Adjusters (ALA) seeks an experienced Loss Adjuster for a full-time, on-site position in Doha, Qatar. You will investigate, evaluate, and quantify claims across property, liability, engineering, and motor, including site visits and evidence collection.

You will coordinate with insurers, brokers, and insured parties, prepare detailed reports, and support negotiations to resolve claims promptly while upholding high professional standards.

Qualifications

• Strong claims handling and claims management skills, including investigation, evaluation, and reporting.
• Proficiency in adjustments and property claims, with the ability to interpret policy terms and apply local regulations.
• Solid understanding of insurance principles and practices, preferably across multiple lines (property, liability, engineering, motor).
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and numerical skills for assessing damages and financial impact.
• Effective written and verbal communication skills in English; Arabic language skills are an advantage.
• Ability to work on-site, conduct field inspections, and manage multiple cases with attention to detail and deadlines.
• Bachelor’s degree in insurance, risk management, engineering, finance, or related field; professional insurance qualifications (e.g., CII or equivalent) are preferred.
• +5 years experience in loss adjusting preferred in Qatar.

Responsibilities

• Investigate, evaluate, and quantify insurance claims across lines such as property, liability, engineering, and motor.
• Conduct site visits, gather evidence and documentation, interview stakeholders, and prepare loss reports and recommendations.
• Coordinate with insurers, brokers, and insured parties, manage claim timelines, and support negotiations to achieve efficient claim resolution.
• Contribute to continuous improvement of technical standards and uphold ALA’s professional service quality.
