Job summary

Arab Loss Adjusters (ALA) seeks an experienced Loss Adjuster for a full-time, on-site position in Doha, Qatar. You will investigate, evaluate, and quantify claims across property, liability, engineering, and motor, including site visits and evidence collection.

You will coordinate with insurers, brokers, and insured parties, prepare detailed reports, and support negotiations to resolve claims promptly while upholding high professional standards.

Qualifications

• Strong claims handling and claims management skills, including investigation, evaluation, and reporting.
• Proficiency in adjustments and property claims, with the ability to interpret policy terms and apply local regulations.
• Solid understanding of insurance principles and practices, preferably across multiple lines (property, liability, engineering, motor).
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and numerical skills for assessing damages and financial impact.
• Effective written and verbal communication skills in English; Arabic language skills are an advantage.
• Ability to work on-site, conduct field inspections, and manage multiple cases with attention to detail and deadlines.
• Bachelor’s degree in insurance, risk management, engineering, finance, or related field; professional insurance qualifications (e.g., CII or equivalent) are preferred.
• +5 years experience in loss adjusting preferred in Qatar.

Role Description

This is a full-time, on-site Loss Adjuster role based in Doha, Qatar. The Loss Adjuster will investigate, evaluate, and quantify insurance claims across lines such as property, liability, engineering, and motor, ensuring accurate and fair adjustments in line with policy terms and local regulations. Daily activities include conducting site visits, gathering evidence and documentation, interviewing stakeholders, and preparing clear, detailed loss reports and recommendations. The role involves coordinating with insurers, brokers, and insured parties, managing claim timelines, and supporting negotiations to achieve efficient claim resolution. The Loss Adjuster will also contribute to continuous improvement of technical standards and uphold ALA’s core values and professional service quality.
