Job summary

Danem Engineering Works W.L.L in Qatar is seeking a Lifting/Rigging Engineer to plan and supervise safe lifting operations on site. You will develop lift plans, perform load calculations, select equipment, and ensure compliance with safety regulations.

The ideal candidate has 8–10 years of lifting/rigging experience in industrial or construction settings, plus relevant certifications. This full-time role requires on-site work in Qatar.

Qualifications

• Strong technical knowledge of lifting principles and rigging configurations.
• Ability to prepare and review lifting plans, method statements and risk assessments.
• Experience reviewing lift drawings and coordinating with site teams.

Responsibilities

• Develop detailed lifting and rigging plans for heavy and critical operations.
• Perform load calculations, assess crane capacity and equipment suitability.
• Select appropriate cranes, slings and rigging accessories.
• Review safety documentation before operations begin.
• Supervise lifting activities to ensure compliance with lift plans.
