Tanint seeks a Senior L2 Engineer to support Ericsson Router 6000 (R6K) platforms in Qatar, focusing on production operations, incident management, RCA, and platform reliability.

The role requires hands-on experience with R6K, scripting in Python and Groovy, and close collaboration with engineering, service delivery, and vendor teams to maintain high service availability in a telecom production environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Telecommunications, Computer Science, IT, Engineering, or related field.
• Proven experience supporting Ericsson Router 6000 (R6K) environments.
• Strong hands-on experience in L2 telecom production operations and support.

Responsibilities

• Provide L2 operational support for Ericsson Router 6000 (R6K) and SPOs platform environments.
• Investigate and resolve complex production incidents affecting network and service performance.
• Perform advanced troubleshooting and root cause analysis (RCA) for recurring and critical issues.
• Monitor platform health, service availability, and operational KPIs.
• Execute software releases, deployments, upgrades, and maintenance activities.
• Develop, review, and execute MOP documents.
• Coordinate with engineering, operations, vendors, and customer teams during major incidents.
• Automate operational processes using Python and Groovy scripting.
• Document incidents, solutions, workarounds, and technical procedures.
• Participate in change management and service improvement initiatives.
• Ensure compliance with operational processes, SLA requirements, and technical standards.
